Hey all, I'm Jana. I am currently residing in the Phoenix, Arizona area after living in California for most of my life. I was introduced to Doctor Who in college, started costuming in 2009 with a really basic Eleventh Doctor costume. I've been sewing my own costume pieces for about a year, so I am a newbie as well (in the world of sewing, anyway). I like to thrift a majority of my pieces, it really adds to the fun. I usually cosplay as series 8 Clara, particularly "The Caretaker", "Flatline" and 50th Anniversary. I also am working on a "Time of the Angels/Flesh and Stone" Amy Pond, which will debut at the Arizona Ren Faire soon. I have been a member of the Order of Gallifrey since the first Galliday, in which I met Alex and Jen. (Wow, that's a long time ago!) In my non- Who life, I am a reading teacher at a school in Phoenix, Arizona, and a swing dancer. I have a fur baby/cat named Snickers, who is my fuzzy companion, and a Raggedy Doctor/boyfriend/Eighth Doctor, who is also a member of the Order. (He can introduce himself if he so chooses.  So what do you plan to do for this sector? - I plan to grow this sector. This will be done by attending local events, when possible, partnering with local charities and fan groups (such as AZ T.A.R.D.I.S) and social media. We may be a small sector, but we are still important and very much a part of this group.
- I plan to offer help as needed. The way I see it, leadership should serve the people, right? So providing resources, events, and help in any way should come naturally.
- Event promotion and planning- this is the fun part. Meeting some of you, hanging out, having some misadventures through time and space (Geronimo!).
What will be the three most important duties you will run of elected commander?
- Serve you. Without you, no group, right?
- Attend events, promoting the group. Also partner with local charities, when possible.
- Be a safe place where all people in this region feel welcome and can talk bout the show they love.
