Long Beach Comic Con, 9/27-28 Fan Table Activities/Planning

All - I have some wonderful news to report (which I will share on Facebook later this afternoon)! I've just been told that our application for a fan table at LBCC was accepted, and that we will have a fan table for the Order of Gallifrey at the Con!!!
Details are here, longbeachcomiccon.com/lbcc.php but the convention takes place September 27 & 28 (Sat & Sun) at the Long Beach Convention Center. Tickets appear to be on sale and available now. A Saturday ticket is $30, Sunday is $20, and all-weekend is $40. We may also get a handful of free passes for the group, but I'm not 100% certain on that.
And now for the EVEN BETTER news! The convention hosts are very much in favor of encouraging charity-related activities, so we have permission to do a charity raffle at the booth! Would love to get your thoughts as to what charity we should be supporting, and of course we'll be looking anywhere and everywhere for donations of new or handmade Doctor Who-related items for the raffle.
So - we're going to have some work to do, but I know we can pull this off! Stay tuned for more threads for planning for Long Beach!
UPDATE: We've had some great ideas for ways to make our table great and promote the club at LBCC, so I'm going to list them out here and hopefully we can get some discussion going on these items.
Fan Table Ideas/ List of Things to Work On:
1. Charity Raffle - This will probably need its own thread as I'd like to start a list of any Whovian-related items that people would be willing to donate. We also need to figure out which charity we'd like to support.
2. Interactive "Find the Doctor" Event - Have a list of folks costuming the various Doctors (and TARDIS, companions etc) and have certain members with those costumes wear special tags so that members can get stickers or ribbons, or some small prize, for finding a certain # of costumers on the list in a scavenger-hunt like event. Would love input on the details as I thought this was an excellent suggestion.
3. Get club ribbons made - Melissa has found a vendor that makes the ribbons that con attendees can stick onto their badges; it would be great to get some of these made up for the Order, and possibly some cute/cheeky ones we can give out as prizes for #2.
4. Have a banner made for the table. I'm willing to foot the bill for this; I know a great website with reasonably-priced banners.
5. Club patches - Something we've talked about on the Facebook page and through a "reverse voting" process we decided that our first patch would be 4th Doctor themed. Would be cool if we could get these made before the con!
I realize some of these items will cost money but I figure that if we can get folks to chip in as they are able and would like (kind of like they do with Galliday at Disneyland) we can have a lot of cool things for the table.
Please chime in with any thoughts on these or any other ideas you may have to make the table FANTASTIC!
