I'll kick things off here.
Shawn, since you're the only candidate, I'll direct this question (rather, these questions) specifically to you.
You were one of the people who initially proposed that such an office be created. What would you see as being the critical duties of the Archivist? Would you be willing to write the office up for the Charter? Some have proposed that the Archivist position should have no term limit. What is your opinion on that matter?
